First 3D attempts: Realtime Gameart: Pirates of the Sky 3ds max, Photoshop December 2009
Although uploaded in 2009, this stuff has been created in 2004. Here are my first attempts creating 3d models - and, in this case, creating 3d models for video game mods. The overall work wasn't that long - a few days. I made those scenes for a freeware game project, respectively a 3d engine demo. Please keep in mind that the scene is really old, but since it shows some realtime work (instead of regular render stuff) i uploaded it for you at least.
PS.: And yes - i pushed those screens up a littlebit, although motion blur, glow effects, fog and light beams are supported by the open source 3d engine we used for the project! The credits for visual engine coding go to Martin Billinger, alias LagRange.
